Since returning to campus in September, there have been some reports of performance issues with Big Blue Button, which is the built-in web-conferencing tool within Canvas. Canvas are aware of these issues and are working with the Big Blue Button company to resolve them ASAP. We would however encourage staff who are having a negative user experience with Big Blue Button, to consider using Microsoft Teams as your web-conferencing platform.
Microsoft Teams can be used as a standalone platform or meetings can be embedded into Canvas.
